OIO Holdings Limited has confirmed Rudy Lim's appointment as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its Blockchain Subsidiary.
FREMONT, CA : OIO Holdings Limited has announces Rudy Lim's appointment as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its Blockchain Subsidiary. It is expected that the recruitment of Rudy, a FinTech specialist, would further expedite the blockchain business of OIO.
Rudy has been a strong supporter of the problems faced by conventional banks and the necessity for significant reform as the digital economy evolves. Guided by this foresight, he managed innovation ventures in Fintech across different DBS divisions, like analytics, market analysis, and collaborations, connected with the establishment of a leading bank in Southeast Asia and played an integral role in the Fintech ecosystem.
Rudy introduced Startup Xchange as the Head of FinTech at DBS to encourage startups to co-create solutions to DBS business problems, help them match and add value to the bank, and its future corporate customers. Startup Xchange has effectively carried out over 40 proofs-of-concept with startups around the bank since its pilot in 2018 and efficiently introduced more than 20 innovative technology solutions.
Rudy was a member of the Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) venture investment and business innovation team before his DBS career, where he was active in helping startups from conceptualization to financing their business models.
