Forecasting the Future of Mobile App Development

CIOAdvisor Apac | Friday, November 30, 2018
Tweet

Mobile application development is one of the most innovative and fastest growing sectors. Google apps like Gmail, Maps, and Search, social media apps like Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube, and gaming apps like Angry Birds, Temple run, and Candy Crush, have greatly captured a huge range of market share in the mobile applications market. Various giants like Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and Bank of America have created their mobile apps for improving customer engagement and acquisition.

The lifestyles of people have also changed by getting more advanced mobile app services.  Booking cabs via Uber, ordering food through Swiggy, and travel bookings through Goibibo are now very common to most people from around the world. Mobile apps are much efficient than online websites in a way that the apps can provide more customized services as well as reach the customers very easily. Therefore, organizations are increasingly concentrating on their mobile app developments and its day-to-day updation. Social media apps and gaming apps are highly using mobile app platforms in the current scenario. Recently, e-commerce apps are also gaining more popularity in the market.

Among all kinds of apps, the instant apps are a more feasible option for those who look for much simpler mobile app services. Google was the first launcher of instant apps, which are very native, convenient, user-friendly, and small in size. Although these are smaller in size, they can perform all the same functions that websites can. A user can easily access those apps without any need to download it.

In the future, one of the most demanding platforms will be the cloud facility. Cloud-based applications are going to be a necessary mobile app platform than that of any others in the market. The cloud technology will ensure benefits like a high level of productivity, reduced hosting cost, expandable storage space, and excellent uninterrupted performance. In cloud-based apps, one of the challenging tasks will be the assurance of security.

Mobile app development is a vast topic to discuss. Today, the life of the people is going in a very faster way, and most of the people are not even getting enough time for performing their day-to-day activities. Thus, they prefer services that they can get on their fingertips. This scenario has paved the way for the demand for more mobile apps developments.
