Australian-based cloud solutions provider, Consultel Cloud has announced that due to global demand the business has expanded its data centre locations to Singapore to service their clients whose needs for secure cloud-based solutions cross into Asia.
The worldwide infrastructure as a service (IaaS) market grew 29.5 percent in 2017 to total $23.5 billion, up from $18.2 billion in 2016, according to Gartner.
Consultel Cloud delivers expertise in hybrid cloud solutions for all businesses with a focus on delivering cloud infrastructure to enhance business’ efficiency, productivity, and reliability. With offices already in Sydney, Melbourne, London, New York and now Singapore, Consultel Cloud’s multinational clients are in great hands. Consultel Cloud partnered with Equinix to provide state-of-the-art data centres and infrastructure.
Benjamin Molloy, Cloud Solutions Lead at Consultel Cloud said “To service our clients in the best way possible to ensure their cloud security, we knew opening an office in Singapore in partnership with Equinix was the right choice. We have been partners of Equinix for five years now and understand how their product can help companies in the market for cloud-storage. Ultimately, the new office will allow Consultel Cloud to provide direct and secure cloud storage and service to clients doing global business.”
"The market for cloud services is growing faster than virtually every other IT market today, with much of this growth coming at the expense of the traditional, non-cloud offerings," said Sid Nag, research director at Gartner. "The demand for cloud-based IaaS continues on its path of aggressive growth, and the high growth of IaaS is also driving growth in related cloud markets"
As the demand for global, direct, secure, data storage continues to grow, companies will be rushing to provide this service to consumers.
