Artificial IntelligenceWith the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques, most of the companies are able to improve their business processes right across factories and outlets. Utilization of AI to its fullest potential can transform every aspect of the business from the supply chain logistics and marketing even to the customer care and beyond.

However, that potentiality often comes with some roadblocks that could prevent a full realization of AI from experiencing the intended benefits. Companies which are looking forward to implementing AI solutions may not disseminate their resources in any ways without analyzing these possible barriers.

Every application as well as technology has its capabilities as well as inherent challenges; hence, AI is not an exception. Let’s look at a few cases to get an overview of the roadblocks that might be present in the utilization of AI for business.

AI in marketing

Artificial intelligence figures more in many of today’s sales and marketing platforms. AI-driven CRM (Customer Relationship Management) programs like sales force are extensively applicable for helping sales teams to organize, nurture leads, and generally do more with the information they already have.

However, if enterprise teams are not adequately trained in using a system to their fullest potential in improving efficiency and productivity, their firm may face the risk of wasting valuable resources.

Data security

Most of the businesses has another top concern with AI technology is the occurrence of frequent data breaches and less protection for sensitive and classified information. Although AI can undoubtedly transform an enterprise's capability in gathering consumer data, compromising the security and safety of that collected information can degrade the business grow significantly.

Recent researches revealed that the magnitude of these data breaches have predominantly increased and therefore, ensuring data security with AI technology has become a critical priority in marketing strategy.

While data concerns and adequate training are certainly reasonable, AI has its potentiality to quell these concerns through its powerful analytical capabilities completely. At last, digital transformation with AI technology is not an easy task to toss up business levels without concluding the roadblocks mentioned above.
