PCCW Global and Neeco Sign Collaboration Agreement

Collaborating with Neeco will open up a range of benefits for clients, and innovative and integrated ICT services will complement wide-reaching mobile coverage, allowing effective solutions to clients.

FREMONT, CA: PCCW Global and Neeco, a provider of advanced ICT technologies, features, and innovative solutions, sign a collaboration agreement that will allow Neeco to make use of PCCW Globals Console Connect IoT solution to offer greater coverage and more reliable IoT mobile connectivity for clients in the Asia Pacific region. Neecos IoT solutions need consistent and reliable Internet connectivity that crosses multinational borders. PCCW Global will deliver Neeco with international mobile 3G and 4G LTE SIM cards for use in conjunction with all of Neecos ICT services in the Asia Pacific region. These mobile connections will also serve as a backup at sites in areas where fixed-line connectivity is unreliable.

The collaboration will positively impact Neecos popular out-of-band (OOB) management solutions, which are in high demand as site visits by field engineers become complex and expensive than ever before. The technology uses machine-to-machine (M2M) communication to enable support engineers to remotely identify and fix network issues, even if the affected network is effectively down.

Neecos innovative IoT solutions also allow companies to track and monitor assets and increase their delivery's safety and efficiency. The mobile backup connections made possible by the deployment of PCCWs Global SIM cards will represent a revolutionary network upgrade for clients who rely exclusively on fixed-line Internet connectivity. Besides, Neecos pay-as-you-go model lets clients pay only when the mobile backup connections are needed, without the threat of being disconnected from the network due to a lack of activity.

PCCW Globals Console Connect IoT solution allows Neeco to provide its clients with real-time activation and deactivation of devices, service configuration, and traffic monitoring with end-to-end control and visibility across their global IoT assets. The Console Connect IoT solution will simplify the ordering of Neecos services and the implementation and change management of Neecos entire global IoT network.

By remotely managing network devices, Neecos' support teams can quickly address network issues and minimize downtimes. With PCCW Globals' comprehensive mobile coverage, the company will further elevate its service level agreements far above the industry norms.
