Indosat’s customers can opt-in to Play2Pay’s platform enabling mobile users to pay their service provider bills by watching games, playing games, and completing special offers on their devices.

FREMONT, CA: Leading American global payments platform, Play2Pay (Play2Pay) collaborates with Indonesian telecommunications enterprise, Indosat Ooredoo (Indosat), to launch a gamified payments platform. Through the partnership, Indosat will deploy Play2Pay’s platform to its customers, focused primarily on their prepaid segment.

Indosat’s customers can opt-in to Play2Pay’s platform enabling mobile users to pay their service provider bills by watching games, playing games, and completing special offers on their devices. On coupling gamification and mobile monetization, prepaid mobile users can discover new applications and brands while playing games. Therefore, resulting in a fun and rewarding alternative to making bill payments.

“Indonesia is a tremendously advanced market in the mobile and telecommunications industry that makes the launch with Indosat a perfect fit for Play2Pay as its first deployment in Asia,” said Chris Liveing, VP Carrier SalesPla, y2Pay. Furthermore, talking about the coming together of platforms, he added, “Indosat Ooredoo’s leadership position in digital services together with the world class capabilities of the Play2Pay platform will deliver a unique and compelling proposition to their customers.”

Play2Pay’s platform is a fully configurable white label engine, which will be branded and constituted for Indosat Ooredoo. The application is easily adapted for the Indonesian market and supports the company’s specific customer payment options. The tool will be available via Google Play Store along with Indosat Ooredoo channels, and the simple onboarding process will help users to quickly convert time spent engaging in videos, games, and more into making bill payments.

Indosat Ooredoo enables access and exceptional connectivity for everyone and each business and aspires to enrich Indonesians’ lives in the digital world. “Play2Pay provides an exciting new proposition that is both practical and valuable to our broad base of prepaid subscribers,” affirmed Ritesh Kumar Singh, Chief Marketing Officer, Indosat Ooredoo, while talking about the proposal. “Millions use our mobile services, and this platform will provide them with more flexible payment options–which will be necessary, especially at this time.”
