Why Apps Are Much Better Than websites?

CIOAdvisor Apac | Tuesday, March 10, 2020
Tweet

In the mobile era, mobile apps are gaining popularity among the users because of it is easy and more convenient to use and can also be accessed even if offline.

FREMONT, CA: As we all are aware of the fact that this is an era of mobiles and everyone can easily access to mobiles. The other point is that today mobile users are much higher than the number of desktop users. Businesses have realized that there is need to adopt mobile websites and mobile apps to attract customers.

Here are some of the reasons why apps are better than websites:

Mobile Apps Offer Better Personalization

Top 10 APAC Mobile Application Consulting/Service Companies - 2020All the users need apps which can offer better personalization option. Personalization provides tailored communication to users based on their interests, location, usage behavior, and more. Users can quickly get a personalized experience with these apps and can also access to customized content according to their need. Apps also have the ability to track user engagement, and it can be used to offer custom recommendations and updates to the users. Personalization also enhances the conversion rate of apps: When users are pampered with personalized content, they have a higher chance of making a conversion.

Ability to Work Offline

The fundamental difference between a mobile website and an app is that an app allows working offline. Although some of the apps to require internet connectivity, still they can perform basic tasks and can offer essential content even in offline mode. Also, if not connected to the internet, these apps can perform functions like tax calculation, installment calculation, and determination of loan limit.

Ease of Sending Notifications

Email is considered as the most widely-used business communication tool. Most of the businesses use email to reach out to their users. Now email has lost the effectiveness it once had; its open rates and click rates have dropped continuously. One of the main reasons why many companies want to have a mobile app in the first place is that ability to send instantly to attract users. Mobile apps have two types of notifications such as push notifications and in-app notifications, and both send information to the users quickly.
