From reporting bad behavior to encouraging more flexibility, these technological advancements help everyone when implemented in the workplace.

FREMONT, CA: A wide range of factors, including changing ideologies, can drastically impact the workplace environment. Technology is also one among the factor which drives changes in the workplaces. The changes can either be internal and external, positive, and negative. But when viewed in a holistic sense, the impact of technology is majorly positive:

1. The Workplace is Getting Safer for Everyone:

When an employee feels unsafe in the office environment, complete productivity and satisfaction from the job are highly unlikely. 59 percent of employees who have experienced some form of misconduct at their workplace said that they were actively looking for a change; translating that employee retention is dependent on efficient fault administration.

2. Collaboration is Easier than ever Before:

Digital technology has impacted continuously collaboration, the transformation of work methodologies, and how employees connect. The use of digital tools for collaboration is relevant to probability and proximity. Since the technology is evolving, cooperation is not reduced to shared space. Collaborative techniques within the workplace can increase productivity by 20 to 30 percent; according to McKinsey. Technology assists organizations to accomplish continuity.

3. Improved Work-Life Balance is Possible:

A study by Ernst & Young reported that 76 percent of employees have a difficult time balancing work, family, and personal obligations. As a result, workplace flexibility is a crucial factor in the list of employee priorities. While allowing employees to build respective schedules is beneficial to both employees as well as business owners. A report found that 78 percent of employees said flexible work arrangements encouraged productivity. Flexibility is possible without sacrificing workplace organization or cohesion, courtesy of technology.

4. Technology Boosts Efforts to Support Diversity and Inclusion:

Diversity and inclusion among employees create a positive work environment by encouraging new ideas to flourish. The different backgrounds and experiences will inevitably lead to a multitalented team which can make distinctive contributions. All members of a team must feel heard and included regardless of the diversity, for it to lead to productive results.
